Things to know before you book a HolidayVillaz.com Disney area vacation home rental...
To most the choice is pretty clear. You as a guest know what you like and need for your family or group to have an enjoyable stay. If you choose a vacation home there are some things to consider to make sure that you know exactly what to expect.
Housekeeping
There is no housekeeping during your stay. Of course if you would like to have housekeeping it can be arranged for a fee usually mid-stay or more often if you would like. Cleaning fees vary based on the size of the home so please enquire during the booking process for an accurate cost. Upon departure it is necessary to tidy up a bit and specific check out instructions for your vacation rental home will be forwarded to you with your confirmation and arrival packet.
As part of any booking 6 nights or less a departure clean fee will apply. This will be added to the rental rate during the booking process.
Homes Are Self Catering
Although linens and towels are provided, pool towels are not. There is enough linen in the unit for most guests but depending on the size of your group or family and level of activity you may need to utilize the washer and dryer in the unit to launder linens during your stay. Upon arrival you will find enough bath soap, toilet paper, trash liners, etc. to get you through
your first night. You will need to visit the local grocery store to purchase any additional consumable items that you may need for your stay.
Keyless Entry
Most homes are fitted with keyless entry with either a lock box containing a key or electronic keypad access. Most reservations are able to check in by simply arriving at the home at 4pm or later and using an access code to enter the vacation rental home.
Maintenance Emergencies
Our maintenance staff are on-call and ready to assist you 24/7/365 for emergencies. You will be provided an emergency contact number to keep with you throughout your stay in case an emergency should occur. This number is for true emergencies only. Please remember you are staying in a home and not a hotel with on-site staff. Someone would need to drive out to take care of issues. You will need to reserve lightbulb outages, squeaky doors, etc. for business hours only. Call out fees do apply for calls to the emergency line for non-emergency issues. Although every effort is made by the on-site staff to ensure every detail is checked prior to your arrival, this is a home and maintenance issues can happen. Outside contractors may be used to handle major requests such as plumbing, pool issues, and other major repairs and do not always operate with our "vacation" schedule in mind. Should a maintenance issue occur we will make every effort to resolve as quickly as possible but do not offer compensation due to scheduling issues beyond our control. This is important to understand as we do appreciate that while on vacation a few hours of inconvenience can seem like an eternity.
Damage
To protect yourself from being charged for accidental damage a damage waiver is applied to the rental unless you decline coverage. Coverage protects you from liability for accidental damage only. For a complete description of coverage please click here. If you decline coverage a security deposit in the amount of $350 will need to be paid before arrival. The security deposit will be returned after a favorable inspection indicating no damage has occurred during your visit.
Location
Homes are located in established sub-divisions and resort style communities which are minutes from the attractions and fun! Some homes are gated and some are not. Depending on your comfort level please choose the type of community that will suit your needs best. You are in a private villa with no front desk so if you choose a home over a resort ensure you keep all contact numbers and info handy should you need a familiar voice. Our team is only a phone call away!
